It is organized well and has shared facilities for toilets, but not as well-structured than the Thai camps.

At the beginning of February, UNHCR reported on a grave humanitarian emergency in Zaatari Camp in Burma. At least 300 people fled the camp in the night, mostly women and children. While most made it to Bangkok safely, their spouses were left behind. The UNHCR has not been able to visit the camp in recent years.
